Serena Rogers began in the Spa industry in 2002 as an aesthetician and nail technician then worked her way into the role of Operations Manager at Spa Diva in Montreal, Canada - Montreal's largest day spa.
In 2007, Hyatt Hotels recruited Serena as Opening Director for Spa Esencia in Trinidad and Tobago. Following that, she took on the position of Opening Director at Isala Spa in Macau, China. Most recently, Serena was the Interim Director at Sago Spa in Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, USA.
Serena Rogers founded Nika Consulting Inc. in 2010 as a strategic consulting and interim management firm to help spas worldwide achieve success. With her extensive experience in pre-opening, operations, team building, branding, and retail merchandising, her positive outlook, and her genuine love of teaching, Serena sets the standard for personalized and meaningful customer experience and makes every Nika project an engaging, unique, and memorable process.
Using her passion and knowledge, Serena has created a place for herself in the spa industry by sitting on the Advisory committee of Algonquin College Aesthetics and Hospitality program, guest speaking for the Spa Industry Association of Canada, as well as sitting on their membership committee.
